that's ridiculous and not true. half the people in gabelli have pcs anyway.
If anything PCs are more widely used and more accepted.
Thank you, I'm so glad. I never know what reviews to believe. I have fallen in love with Fordham and was so sad to read negative reviews. That website is http://www.studentsreview.com
EVERY school has negative reviews on that site...its just people who are disgruntled and venting
Can't afford a Mac yet Fordham costs 40k a year
We got half scholarship plus financial aid. Paying for college will be a huge stretch and yes, adding a few more thousand for a MAC would hurt!!

Computers are plentiful at Fordham. There is at least one computer lab in the majority of the academic buildings. The computer labs in the Walsh Family Library are the nicest, with PCs and Macs all in the same building (the computer labs in the academic buildings are either all PC or all Mac). There is a language lab in the basement of Keating Hall (the main academic building in the center of Rose Hill's campus), which some professors require that students go to in order to access special programs and workbook content.
There are no 24-hour computer labs, so a laptop or personal computer of some sort is a must-have at Fordham. Printers are also a good idea, whether you have your own or agree to share one with your roommate(s). You can print in the library, but 10 cents a page can add up quickly when you think about all of the papers and readings you'll have to print out for all of your classes. It is also inconvenient if you live on the other side of campus from the library—to trek over there just to print your paper. There is wireless Internet access all around campus, but some areas have better signals than others. You can get a connection in most places, but it's usually not that fast.
