Traditions
- Homecoming - This October Rose Hill event brings football and school spirit to its apex. Alumni and the surrounding community come out to celebrate the annual event in the Bronx.
- Midnight Breakfast - A several-year-old (and hopefully eternal) annual treat held during the end of the school year. Lincoln Center’s cafeteria opens at midnight for a delectable buffet of pancakes, muffins, sausages, and more, served by your own University president, Father John McShane.
- Playwrights’ Festival - Both Rose Hill and Lincoln Center host these events for budding playwrights (they are not affiliated) to submit new plays that will, pending a student vote, be produced for the public. Lincoln Center’s group has recently become an active club called the Playwrights’ Guild which hosts various activities throughout the year for young writers.
- Senior Week - So you’re done with classes and need to fill seven days with fun until you receive your diploma? Senior Week is both a faithful and ever-changing week of festivities reserved for those preparing to leave Fordham. Traditional events include the Senior Cruise, while new events include a Family Mass and a trip to Atlantic City (somehow, the two go together quite nicely).
- Spring Fling - Lincoln Center hosts this special spring day with a carnival on the Plaza. Free food including ice cream and cotton candy are served while palm readers and caricaturists offer their services.
- USG Winter Ball - Lincoln Center’s annual winter formal. A dinner and a dance, served at a rotating New York destination.
