Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Fordham is nothing like what most students envision when they think of the typical college experience. You won't find any huge lecture halls, fraternities, or sororities, and you won't get lost trying to navigate a massive campus. Fordham prides itself in being a small, intimate setting, where professors value students as individuals and not one of hundreds in their class who get lost in the mix of things. With its prime locations, Fordham doesn't need to be a big school in order to offer the world to students because the heart of New York City and all of its opportunities are so accessible. Both campuses are beautiful, especially Rose Hill, with its old buildings and abundance of plant life in the midst of an urban setting, and even if it's not the athletics, something about the school will definitely make you proud to say you're a ram.

No one would ever deny that Fordham has its flaws, like high prices and terrible food, but putting all of that aside, the experience that students have is a great one. The majority of students would still choose Fordham if they had a chance to start the college process all over again, and that right there says a lot. The education you receive and the fun you have, both on and off campus, make the downsides seem trivial in the long run, but only as long as you take full advantage of everything that Fordham and the city have to offer. Fordham is a great place to be, but it has to be the right fit for you, so before you make any decisions, visit the campus you plan on applying to and make sure it feels like home.

I Love Fordham

I do love Fordham, but like most colleges, it has it's downsides. I think the price is astronomical for the quality of education I'm getting here. However the campus is the most beautiful I have seen (granted, in the worst area I have seen).

THE BEST!! NOTHING LIKE THE REST

This is the place where you could have you dreams come true if you like the urban feel with the safe environment of suburban area. This is it; you are in walking distance from the famous little Italy, Bronx Zoo and Botanical Gardens. It's not only a place home away from home but it’s a place where you could let you brain run wild. Love this place I don’t see myself anywhere else.

I was disappointed with the level...

I was disappointed with the level of academics here, but I found a lot of resources outside the school to be extremely helpful. I interned at a major network and made some big connections that way. So, if nothing else, Fordham opened a lot of doors for me.
