Not Enough Opportunities for Financial Aid

I received a bit of financial aid, but most of my college tuition Freshman year was being paid through loans. I also aspire to attend medical school, and Fordham is too expensive to pay for without more financial aid. The financial aid office is little help to me, because Fordham very sparingly gives financial aid that sustains the student throughout their college experience.

Most People Have Scholarships

It is a very expensive school, but almost all of my friends have at least some scholarships. To keep the scholarship you must maintain a certain gpa though which can be difficult as 3.0s here are not easy to attain.

Financial Aid at Fordham

Financial aid has been very helpful with all of my questions, especially in helping me out with increasing my original package by a little bit.

Advice on Financial Aid

No one can deny that Fordham's prices are steep, so financial aid is an extremely important consideration for most students. One way to ensure the best aid possible for your situation is to send in all of the necessary information as soon as possible—the earlier, the better. If you have an issue with your financial aid package once you receive it, make sure you contact the financial aid office as soon as possible and check back regularly on the status of your inquiry. If you're accepted, that means Fordham wants you to come here, so if you're persistent enough, you can usually work something out.
