I am getting a good education at a low cost. It is close to home and I have a flexible schedule, which includes full-time school and two part-time jobs.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tution and the finical aid process have been very helpfull, and decently priced, even though going back to school, and raising a child is not very easy.

The on campus workout facility is decent, but it is shared with the community and neighboring towns. It is called Borger Community Activity Center, obviously the priority is on the town, not the school, which is frustrating. There are always accommodations made for the community, where we aren't allowed in the gym, or parts are closed for banquets instead of for us to use as a basketball court. The Computer lab is great, good student tutors (aka me), and friendly staff. The computers aren't super new, but they get the job done. If you are in the TRiO program, there are fun events. The Library is descent, the staff is helpful.

The only reason I chose to go to this school was to pursue playing basketball. If you go here, make sure you get a good academic adviser, because mine screwed me over when it came to transferring. Most teachers are willing to work with you to help understand the material you are learning. In my two years here, I only ran into a couple of professors I did not like. Most are accommodating, friendly, and have a good understanding of the subject they are teaching.

Diversity of Students – There is a big diversity in our student body. It differs between ages from 18-50 . We have full time mothers, athletes, and we even have people that flat out don't care. With all the differences in my classmates they socialize with everyone and help anyone in need.

Great Experience – I loved my time at Frank Phillips College. All of the faculty and staff were extremely helpful with any question I had. I was even able to build some relationships with my professors through softball because they were very big supporters. The professors were very involved with all of the students. The class registration was very easy I just went up to student services and they sat down with me and helped e with everything. They have a program called Trio that helps with supplying tutors and others to help you with your work. they offered many computers and printers and things you wuld need for a college class. It was a great program and I would have been lost without it.

Online classes are very convenient if you are the type of person to always have something to do. I love how you have a good idea of the course and know what you are going to be doing through out the course and can do it on your own time.
