The Department of Public Safety is disturbance-driven in their stance toward alcohol. They also prefer to run educational programs and self-defense classes to lower the incidences of those disturbances.

Tough Place

Academic honesty is very important here. If you are involved with drugs or drinking illegally, you usually get a warning and have to see a councilor or complete an online program. You have to watch the strikes that go on your record though.

Honestly, Not That Strict.

I have never felt that P Safe went out of their way to get in trouble. If people were being dumb and vandalizing or something, they always made sure to sort it out...But, generally, they are there to help you. I have never felt as though they wanted to get you in trouble. They are there more for safety of the students than for disciplinary reasons.
