College Prowler Take
While students used to look forward to moving off campus, it is now essentially impossible. The new housing system puts strict measures on students to live in approved apartment buildings that are either owned by or associated with the college. Living off campus used to be cheaper than living on campus, but that was before the new system. Approved apartment buildings boast ridiculous rent prices, far higher than the cost of finding a place on your own.
Students have spoken negatively about the new system from day one, though some find it easier than looking for a place on their own. The lottery system either works for you or against you when choosing a living place, and if you get a bad number, you could end up living with total strangers.
