Gorgeous days aren’t unheard of, but really, really crummy days aren’t, either. Saying that the weather varies widely is, if anything, an understatement. The past couple winters have had snowfalls that ranged from nine inches to 63 inches in all, although 20 to 30 is more typical. Of course, whenever it snows, Fummers make sleds out of dining hall trays and cavort down Buchanan Hill with the local children for fun!

There are a lot of really nice days in the spring and fall. And when that happens, F&M students take advantage of it by sitting out in the sunshine and playing Frisbee. The campus itself is gorgeous year-round, whatever the weather might be.

Neutral Lancaster

Located in the Harrisburg-Lancaster-York-Lebanon county zone, the place enjoys the typical weather of the East Coast. Rigid weather is quite milder than in the Up North area, yet still a challenge for West Coast people. There's Buchanan park on campus in compensation for skating on a snow day in case one may need to get some fun out of the freeze. Autumn, spring are otherwise beautiful and poetic in this historical-theme town.

SNOW!!

This past semester, I experienced snow! Los Angeles does not have snow and in a Pennsylvanian, I experience all four seasons! I was very excited to see snow for the fact that it is something I have never seen or experienced in my life. Although it is pretty cold, I do not mind the beautiful view that the campus has.

East Coast Weather

It snows a a fair amount and classes hardly ever get cancelled. Classes are really close though.
