Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The baseball team, men's and women's basketball teams, and men's and women's soccer teams are very popular and successful. Most students are not overly interested in sports due to the location of the school and the fact that it is a Division II university, a relatively obscure division with only a few teams. Division I and III are the most popular divisions for sports. Although the three aforementioned teams have enjoyed success and popularity, many teams have been unsuccessful and unpopular. These include the lacrosse, ice hockey, and softball programs.

Most students feel that varsity sports don't get as much attention as they deserve, especially since the school puts a lot of resources into these programs and prides itself on its athletic success.
