With the exception of a few fast food places and individually-owned "mom and pop" restaurants, there isn't much to eat off campus in Henderson. If a student wants more options, he or she usually goes to Jackson, which is 30 minutes away. Most students don't mind the drive, though, because there is so little to do in Henderson. 

While Henderson has Besso's coffee, Jackson has Starbucks. Henderson has Subway, while Jackson has Jason's Deli. McDonald's is the go-to fast food restaurant in Henderson, but Jackson has Chick-fil-A, Arby's, Popeye's, and many more. So, much off-campus dining is not done in Henderson, where FHU is located, but in Jackson. However, Henderson does boast Bell's, which has "the best burgers this side of Heaven."
