Our swim team is wonderful. The teammates I have are supportive, smart, honest, and great people. The coaches are nice and approachable if you have anything you need to discuss with them they are very nurturing. My mentor is wonderful too and always pushing me to do more. There isn't much else I could ask for in a school.

The courses I have taken using blackboard and other online features for learning including C engage have been great. They worked wonders for all types of subject including Nutrition, Marketing, and Math. The teacher interaction could have been better and maybe more lecture videos even links to YouTube videos from other teachers would have been helpful.

Our internet in the library is hard to stay connected to. I love our school, but the closer you are to the power source the more people are plugged in and harder it is to get onto the network. We need better Wifi.

Our student are a lot younger than myself, but they get it done. Most of them are trying to figure out what they want in life, and that's okay. We have plenty of time to find ourselves.

The resources are available. The instructors in charge are very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. They will not do the work for you, the want you to learn how to become successful and independent. If You need them they are there you just have to ask. Student Center and Cadena Transfer Center are amazing. Our front office is knowledgeable and well trained.

It was easy to go to someone and talk to them about the specific classes. It's easy to make an appointment that works around my schedule

Everyone at my school has their own thing going on for them, nonetheless, they are all very approachable. I haven't had a hard time making a new friend at my school for the past year that I've been here! It's so diverse on campus too, I love it.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Some people in the financial aid office are very helpful, others aren't. It's a loooong process, but in the end you get what you deserve -- as long as you don't make any mistakes in the process! I had to learn on my own how to fill out all of the forms! I wish the school sent out more detailed information.

Wireless access can be a little spotty. And setting up a school email account is a chore. I have taken computer science classes here, and while they are strict on computer lab regulations, there is always an open computer available.

Great library and athletic centers. Students could probably use a little more option in things to do during their downtime in between classes, but there is enough to warrant my satisfaction. Not a big fan of the counseling offices but that's just my opinion, others disagree and have found them quite advantageous.

Great professors, but the workload can get a little much if you schedule too many math and science classes together, but i'm sure it's manageable for someone who appropriately manages their time. As long as you don't overload yourself, you should be able to come out of it well prepared for a university's workload.

Overall, good professors, good environment for learning. I wish that they offered more. Some classes are very hard to schedule like Chemistry. Beginner students have a hard time getting into classes such as English and Math. I also wish they provided more short term classes.

I am content with the wide variety of class times at Fullerton ranging from early morning to late at night, the only down side is limited seats
College Senior 2013-09-21T07:07:35Z
The student body at Fullerton College is really diverse, you won't see just one race but a mix of multiple races and backgrounds which is great to get to know where people come from.
College Senior 2013-09-21T07:05:06Z
As long as you get an early registration time, you are sure to get the classes you need, even if you end up getting a later registration time, a lot of students end up switching up their classes so always get on the wait list for the classes you need or want

Tuition & Financial Aid:
After successfully submitting my application on FAFSA, Fullerton College took forever to get back to me on what wavers I was eligible for. It definitely was a a long process. Thankfully, I was eligible for the "Bog" Waver, which covered the fee for my classes, but I still had to pay for my books myself (which was extremely expensive.) The education I am receiving is definitely worth what I am paying. For anyone going through the financial aid process at Fullerton College, my advice is to be very self-sufficient! Check your email daily and follow up with your application status at Fullerton College for clarification as frequently as possible!

For the most part, my school consists of students from diverse ethnic backgrounds and financial situations. Many students are there straight from high school, looking to transfer to a University or Cal State. However, there are many students that are older with families, returning to school to earn their degrees. Everyone on campus is relatively friendly, but it definitely has a "commuter school" atmosphere. Students are there to get their work done and go home with little to no socializing in between.

There are many labs on campus that offer resources such as computers, printing services, and even laptops you can rent. Fullerton campus has a large library that provides these resources, but it also has computer labs located in many buildings for students to use at their convenience. Wifi access is always available and easy to access, too!
College Sophomore 2013-09-15T05:33:10Z
My school has an excellent music and theater department. At Fullerton College, the talents of many musicians and actors are showcased frequently for their peers to enjoy. Many professors even offer extra credit to students who watch a play or music performance and write a synopsis after.

The facilities on campus for students to go to during their break between classes are good. The library, in example, provides a good amount of resources, including many available computers, printing services, and even private study rooms. The dining area as well provides a large selection of food for students to chose from during their break. Fullerton College is definitely not doing a good job in assisting it's students in their counseling center, however. Getting an appointment with a counselor is near impossible, and once you do, the counselors offer little knowledge to share with the students. Counselors also take extremely long when giving students clearance to take a class.

When I used the computer labs I felt that they had a good network. The printing could be a little faster but overall it was great. I did have a problem with using wifi, it is very slow and I couldn't finish one assignment.
College Senior 2013-08-24T22:50:54Z
I have only been on campus when I need to see a counselor or when I had lab. I take all my classes online so I haven't had much time to look around and see what there is to offer. From what I saw the classrooms are nice and big, the computer lab is good, and the staff is mostly friendly. I like that Fullerton offers so many online classes but I do wish that they would offer your whole AA.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am giving Fullerton College a A- because I did get full financial aid and I believe that the tuition is worth the money for the classes. The reason for the A- is because I would like to see more online classes. The financial aid process was a little difficult and they asked for a lot of paperwork but they do have to know that no one is cheating the system, so I am all for it.
