Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Furman students are generally crazy about their school. Although it’s not for everyone, the ones who decide to attend usually find it a great match. The academic programs at Furman are a huge draw. Students appreciate the quality of education they are getting and the personal attention they get from their professors. And although the workload can be stressful at times, Furman’s idyllic campus makes it difficult to sustain any level of stress for too long.

It’s true the Furman bubble may seem out of touch with the real world at times. Sometimes, it seems like you are surrounded by homecoming queens, class presidents, and valedictorians. But despite a few complaints, no one seems to want to leave. Just ask anyone on campus. Furman students love to talk about why they love their school.

I LOVE IT

Furman has kicked my butt academically, but from a student life perspective, it is wonderful. The beautiful view with the lake, the wonderful choirs and other musical performances, the ease to find and make friends make this the best choice of my life. I am happy to be a Paladin, and I will proudly scream our cheer for the rest of my life: "F U ALL THE TIME!"
