Nero’s Bar & Lounge

Li’l Joe’s

Li'l Joe's is a family-owned bar where everybody knows somebody. They offer daily specials on both food and drinks, in addition to 50 cents off all drinks Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., 35-cent wings from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays, and fish dinners on Fridays.

Hollywood Gardens Bar

Hollywood Gardens is a cozy nook off a side street in Rochester, featuring fine drinks and live music. The establishment believes in the pursuit of life's pleasures, among them music, drinks, exercise, pets, food, and lively human interaction.

Tinitique Café & Tavern

Tinitique (pronounced "tiny-teak") is about a 15-minute drive from campus, but absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is great, with a view of the river and old signs decorating the walls. The service is excellent, and the food is superb. Tinitique also sports a full bar with a friendly crowd.

Sal’s Ristorante & Bar

Sal's is a family-owned Italian restaurant that started in 1985, and the restaurant is also a great Geneva favorite for its mouthwatering homemade recipes and Italian specialties including pizza, calzones, and seafood. The restaurant also offers a great nightlife for those looking for a place with good food and entertainment in the evenings.

Corner Tavern

Corner Grill

Corner Grill offers good prices (cash only) for lunch, dinner, and drinks, and has the self-proclaimed best steak salads and fish dinner in town.

Back Door Tavern

The Back Door Tavern is a much-loved local hot spot, known for its variety of beers, beer-battered fish, and enormous food portions. The tavern has a bar on the upper level and a full-size family-friendly restaurant on the bottom. The bar crowd is friendly, the service is good, and prices are outstanding. The Back Door also serves the only true Pittsburgh sandwiches in Beaver County. Fun fact one: on request, the bar keeps a record of the beers that you've tried. Once you've had 88, you get your name engraved on a plaque that covers two full walls of the tavern. Fun fact two: dubiously, the Back Door has been open since before Prohibition (1920).

The bar is open Monday through Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m.

Fat Daddy's

Sometimes you just don’t want to pay $12 for a drink. On those nights, head out to Fat Daddy's—they may be cheaper, but they’re definitely not weaker.

Sim's isn't fancy, but it offers all the necessities of a bowling alley: snack bar, pool tables, arcade games, a bar—oh, and 40 bowling lanes with "Cosmic Bowling" (blacklights and loud music) select evenings from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Swing Dancing

Every Friday evening, Geneva students crowd the basement of College Hill PCUSA for two hours of swing dancing. A beginner lesson is held at 7:30 p.m., and the floor opens at 8 p.m. Entry is $1. Come alone or with a partner or friends.

Cinemark Movies

Cinemark offers all the comforts a movie theater can, and for every cent of the typical movie theater price. Even so, the trek from campus and the higher prices are worth it for the spacious, comfortable seating, DIY butter station, and quality experience.

Beaver Falls Coffee and Tea Company

BFCAT (as the natives call it) is a family-owned, fair-trade, locally-oriented coffee shop that offers a second home for college students and community members alike. Ask the coffee connoisseurs at the bar, the casual sippers in the comfy chairs, or the folks on the porch enjoying their pipes—BFCAT is the place to be.

Carmike Plaza 6

The Carmike theater is nothing to write home about, but it's nearby (about 1.5 miles), and you can't beat the $6 tickets ($5 between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.).
