Do Well on Your Sats/Acts to Get High Academic Scholarships

About 95% of all incoming students receive academic scholarships, that are pretty decent. There are 4 levels of academic scholarships that range from $7,500; $10,000; $12,000; and $15,000 a year. If you don't maintain a 3.0 GPA, though, you'll lose your academic scholarship.

Love It!

I love the financial aid office/process at Geneva, because they are so helpful. One time I went into the financial aid office to see if there was any way I could get help financially, and a financial aid counselor found me a substantial scholarship right away!

Advice on Financial Aid

Go to the Financial Aid Office in person, early, and often. The staff is eager to please, especially if you build a rapport with them. Keep your grades up, too. Geneva offers several merit-based scholarships that require maintaining a 3.0 or 3.2 GPA. Geneva also offers several denominational scholarships. Brush up on your essay skills; Geneva holds a scholarship competition for incoming freshmen offering one full-tuition and a few lesser scholarships. Another word of advice is to look for outside scholarships. There's no way around it; Geneva is expensive. Explore all of your options.
