Advice
- The best way to find out about jobs and internships is through professors, other students, and the Internet. GW has its own job listings site, GWork (gwork.gwu.edu), where employers throughout the District and country list open positions available to students looking for jobs. The University is the largest private employer in the District and so many students work on campus in various University departments. If you’re interested in a particular internship or job, such as at the State Department, working for an interest group, or interning for your local Congress representative, visit their Web sites and inquire directly about any open positions.

recognized company, gain tremendous exposure, utilize new media techniques, and share advice with high school students about what life is
really like at your college. Read more about the internship.
