It's Hard to Get Aid

Georgetown cannot give everyone financial aid, but if you really need it then Georgetown can usually help. To get scholarships is even harder, as everyone here is very distinguished and active so it's hard to stand out academically or in clubs/groups.

No Financial Aid

There may be financial aid at the BA level--I dont know. I made inquiries about financial aid for graduate work and was told there was none.

Its a Little Lacking

Financial aid at georgetown is a little lacking. You have to fill out both the FAFSA and CSS profile, but they don't tell you that only students with extreme need are only going to get aid. Georgetown has a pretty low endowment so middle class students get kind of screwed with the high tuition. It is worth it in the long run for the great education you get, but it is really expensive.
