Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

If you ask any student about their experience at GCSU, it is sure to be a positive one. If they had to choose Georgia College and State University all over again, most students would make the same decision. You are never going to feel like a number at the University, and the professors treat students with respect and honesty. The campus is absolutely beautiful, and having almost everything within walking distance is a major benefit. Plus, nightlife is not limited to upperclassman students, as you only have to be 18 to get into any of the bars downtown (still 21 to drink, though).

Georgia College does a great job of preparing students for the “real world” through high-level classes, mock interviews, career fairs, and all of the other various opportunities the University Career Center offers. Choosing GCSU guarantees a small-town feel, a variety of new friendships, opportunities to join more than 160 organizations, and an overall great college experience.

Tons of Intramural

Intramural sports at the school are really big. Most people are on at least one team and some people will be on 3 teams at a time. They're really fun.
