College Prowler Take
Few colleges are totally immune from a drug presence on campus, and Gettysburg is no exception. While alcohol permeates the school, present in dorms, fraternities, and off-campus housing, less socially acceptable drugs, such as marijuana and cocaine, are also accessible for those who want to find them. Prescription drug abuse of medicines has escalated sharply in recent years, as students wanting help cramming during midterms and finals are turning to ADD and ADHD treatments, such as Adderall, to provide extra focusing power. While it is not difficult to get a hold of drugs on campus, it is even easier to not deal with them at all. Drugs are hardly in your face on campus, and you have to know where to look to find them. Basically if you want drugs, you will be able get them, and if you don’t, you probably won’t ever have to worry about it.

The drug scene honestly isn't that...
The drug scene honestly isn't that big at Gettysburg. Sure there are plenty of rumors about everyone doing coke everywhere, but if you don't go looking for it, you won't find it. Pot may be the only drug that you can have easy-moderate access to on campus. Most who look for it can find it after a bit of searching.

The drug scene isn't huge....
The drug scene isn't huge. Drinking is a popular activity, and some students smoke, but it's easy to avoid. There are always rumors of students doing harder drugs, but it isn't an issue.

The drug scene is not too...
The drug scene is not too noticeable, but it's definitely there. For the most part, the drug scene is limited to pot, and if you want some, it wouldn't be difficult to find at all. There are definitely some users of harder drugs, but drinking is much more popular.
