The typical guy on campus wears fashionable, name brand clothing, is friendly, vaguely attractive, and hangs out at the Greek houses on weekends. The typical girl is much the same. Since it is a liberal arts school, there are relatively few nerdy types on campus, generally restricted only to closet Star Wars fans and the odd live-action role player in the English department.
While you will find a diverse assortment of guys and girls, as far as hair color or height goes, that's about where it ends. Most people tend to have the same economic and political status-the variance within these categories being quite small. There are very few extremist viewpoints on either side of the political spectrum and, for the most part, both the guys and girls at Gettysburg come fairly close to being, get this, "normal."
