Diversity on Campus

Gettysburg is a predominantly white campus, and the minority percentage is relatively small. It is because of this small percentage, students of color form relationships with other students of color; not giving themselves the opportunity to branch out. It is hard becuase one can stick a fork in the racial tension, but of course many would deny there is any.

Transportation at Gettysburg College

Isolated

The closest airport to Gettysburg is BWI which is about a 1.5 hour drive. You can take the shuttle from campus but it costs $20 each way. You can also take the shuttle to the Amtrak station in Harrisburg for the same price. Other than that, there isn't transportation to other places.
