I loved all the online courses that I took. The workload was good. Most stuff was very easy to follow. The only problem I had was with a teacher not turning in that I was doing my work to the school, so that financial aid knew I was doing what I needed too.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education is very good and is a respected by employers. I did not much care for some of the staff in the financial aid office but its dealable.

The school is very convenient, they make my class schedule easy to work with my work schedule. The classes that I need to take are easy for me to attend and work around my schedule. I have talked to the counselors and they have told me that all my credits are transferable.

Good they are always having transition days. Where 4 year universitys come in. The nursing program is always getting the latest job offers and pass them on to the students.

They can be very flexible with core classes. But I'm in the nursing program, which is like a school inside a school. You get the class when they offer and you have to work aound them. But it is a great nursing program

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education and financial aid process is very worth how much I am paying to attend this college. Although I think the advising at this school could use some help. It is a very nice school and very good for the amount I am paying to earn my associates degree.

Academic Experience – The academic experience over all at GOCC is pretty good. Again, it feels like high school all over again at time. But, its a good way to get that high school g.p.a up some. The teachers are always willing to help, all you have to do is ask. Always put a lot of effort into everything remember if you fail a class not its on you. You not only wasted money but you will have to pay for it again if it was a requirement for general courses. So, don't do this and stay up on your studies and you should be a-ok.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition overall per. semester isn't bad. Its affordable if you have at least a part time job and maybe and some help. Then financial aid office here is really based on need only. If you make more then a given amount a year your excluded and have to pay out of pocket. Or arrange monthly payment plans. Which range. Depending on how many credit hours your taking a semester.

Most Work – Most of the student body works full time along with going to school full of part time. The age varies quit drastically. There are people of all ages ready to learn. It is a great way to meet new people though. There are a lot of people from all over. Whether their in district of our of district.

You should definitely take online courses if you know how to be your own teacher and manage your own time. It is hard if you have a question because you have to email the instructor and wait for a reply where as in the classroom you ask and you can move on. But, online classes can teach you a lot. They definitely teach you not to procrastinate and get things done right away its a lot easier that way.

Not Bad! This is my first year at this school. So far, it has been okay. There have been a few miscommunication errors here and there but it was nothing that could not be fixed. So far the curriculum, has been pure review of high school. The work isn't too bad as long as you stay on top of things ask questions if you need help etc. Also, so far the college that I am transferring to is excepting all my courses as well. It is a great starting school. And very affordable.

They have lots of oppertunities for help with classes. They have good work shops that focus on topics that are helpful and give you better skills.

The Awful Ones Drag the Good Ones Down – There are some terrific, fun, involved professors but there are some extremely nasty lazy ones. Registration is easy but financial aid has more paper work than the norm.

You Get What You Pay for – There are some terrific teachers and some so terrible that their classes are a waste of time and money.

Diverse for It's Size – Glen Oaks consists of high school students, fresh high school graduates, life-long learners, and working-students with families. Diversity in ethnicity is sporadic.

Online Class – It wasn't too bad. I definitely realize I need to manage my time a little better and not wait till the last minute to take all my tests. It would be easier in some ways if they had more deadlines then when the class was over.

When I was going for Business the classes to take were pretty basic. I recommend you take classes in class instead of online if they are big classes for your major because it is more appealing and helpful. The workload was considerable. Some of the classes the curriculum was good but hard also. They explained that after taking certain classes you could find jobs in certain fields.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I'm getting is pretty good for what I am paying. But there could definitely be some improvements. There aren't many people in the financial aid office that can help you if you have questions it seemed to me. There is only one person in the financial aid office I would recommend because the rest of them have been rude to me when I would ask questions.

Because it is a community college in a small town it seems like high school drama all over again. Which gets old real fast. And some of the students still act like they are in high school.

When I would use the Internet at school, the website we used would be down at least once a week and the speed of the computers weren't that great.

For the school I'm transferring to in the fall: Indiana Wesleyan University, most of my classes are transferring. But some that I wanted to take so they would transfer wouldn't fit in with my schedule this semester. So there were a lot of classes that wouldn't fit in my schedule and were at weird times on campus or it was online but you had to come to the school like once a month on specific dates and times.

Most of the on line classes were very easy. The teachers are very flexible, some are great to reply back and some not at all.
