I have not had an internship, and i do not plan on having one because Goldey Beacom does a good job with involving me into their community. I work in the business office, and there, i gain insight into the business world. I have gained experience and confidence in looking for internships outside of this college due to the confidence they have given me.

The financial aid process runs very smoothly, and the school is very flexible in offering scholarships to every student who is in need. They make it very easy to apply to scholarships, and are there to assist you every step of the way.
I would suggest with follow up emails and to keep your GPA steady, as with any other college/highschool or job.

Although there are not a full range of athletic options at Goldey - Beacom , I am very please with the options available. The fan support is excellent, since it is a small school everyone is very supportive of each other. The school spirit is as good as it gets within a small community, and the athletic facilities are kept up very well. I do wish the school offered more athletic options opening it up to more opportunities, however i am extremely pleased with the options available as stated above.

Goldey- Beacom College has a wide variety of diversity on campus. Between ethnic/racial diversity, religion and sexual orientation they treat everyone fairly, and with great respect. There is no prejudice towards anyone's economic background or political beliefs. I have seen them be fully engaged with the needs of transfer students and international students. I am very happy with what i see here.

It is located in Pike Creek, DE. Not to far from Wilmington, Philadelphia, etc.
Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and more. The campus is fairly small, pretty quiet area.

Health & Safety:
Nothing bad ever happens on campus, mainly because so few students live on campus. Our dorm rooms are always locked and we need a key to access the buildings. The security guards are very old and when they come to bust parties they do not really do much, nor could they really do much.
College Sophomore 2013-04-29T18:33:35Z
Goldey-Beacom does not really have many places for the students to hang out. There are some pool tables and ping pong tables in the student center but that closes pretty early, as do the canteen and the library. The dorm buildings do not have a common area where every one can hang out. The school does try to keep us busy with activities like zumba or dodgeball.

Goldey-Beacom treats its athletes nicely, we have good equipment and the teachers are understanding about sports schedules. The teams do okay, they do not win big games or anything. A lot of scholarships are given out to athletes. The students do not have much school spirit though.

As an adult student, who works during the day and commutes to school at night via automobile, I do not use any other forms of transportation. There is a bus stop, and campus transportation if needed.

There are several places in the pike creek area to dine, along with a variety of different food options. Costs are generally low, and in walking distance of campus (but its easier to drive). None of the restaurants, that I know of, offer student discounts. I would recommend Tyler Fitzgerald's, the food is affordable and good quality.

Pretty good. Has a lot of pizza places and one sort of nice restaurant.

We have one of the best men's and women's basketball teams in our conference. I'm proud to be a Lightning!

Here the advisors are pain in the A**. They dont help you at all. Especially there is one Nancy Grundy who just likes to trouble to students and talks very rudely.

The classes are good, however many of the credits cannot transfer.

The campus (resident students) are mainly white, or black. The other nationalities are mainly all international students.

The process of getting into the Master's program was relatively easy and the admissions staff is very accomodating and helpful during the whole process.

The wi-fi availabilty is amazingly fast and I have never had connection issues.
Although the main computer lab is located in a separate building I have never ran into an instance when there was not a computer avialable or that the network was done.
Printing on campus is not limited and free. You would be crazy not to utilize their facilities for all your academic needs.

The staff is caring and very friendly - although they can become a bit flustured when there is a "rush" of students.
The pricing is very reasonable and so convenient.

It's very nice, I've do enjoy the classes I take for my major. The classes are very hands-on when it comes to the students to give us a better understanding on our majors. In my major, we focus on what needs to be done for us to get prepared for the outside world as well the other majors at my school, and also have great internship programs that are related to your profession.
College Sophomore 2012-08-16T01:11:04Z
its a small school , no need for transportation on campus , its only when your going off campus that you need a bus and the bus stop is across the road . you have to plan your trip with google maps and keep to a schedule .
Sorry, there are no reviews.
