Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Because Goucher's campus is so small, students walk, skateboard, or ride a bike to get around campus. Getting to Towson, Baltimore, or other nearby college campuses is easy, quick, and free by way of the Collegetown Shuttle, but be aware that it has a reputation for running late. There are also buses that run between Baltimore and Towson, plus a light rail that stops at other popular neighborhood destinations like Hampden.

In the city, the Charm City Circulator is a big, purple bus that drops off at many locations and is completely free to all riders. The most reliable mode of transportation is by car, of course, but mind the parking meters in Towson because the police don't hesitate to ticket. Goucher also offers hybrid Zipcars for rent, though they are expensive.

Shuttle Isn't Bad

The collegetown shuttle is the primary method kids use to go off-campus. There are some bus stops in Towson, but if you wanna go to Hopkins or into Inner Harbor or something, the Shuttle is the way to go. And it's free.

Shuttles Are the Cheapest

There's an off chance that the shuttle will be a little late or early, which is hard to deal with in cold weather, but it's really the cheapest bet and can get you pretty far.

Collegtown Shuttle Is Kind of Ok

Collegetown shuttle is mildly dependable, but if you have a car, bring it. BUT DO NOT GET A PARKING TICKET, you can get ticketed for the dumbest reasons here.
