Could Be Good, but Lacking

I was a student athlete here, and my experience was not the best. I never expected it to be a rabid, jock school but the students attitudes towards athletes was at times openly hostile. Non-athletes loved to blame any issue on campus on the athletes (lax players in particular, and no i wasnt one) when in fact it usually was not the case. The facilities were hit and miss. The new turf field is fantastic, but the locker rooms and workout space could use some work.

Off Campus Housing

Judging by the fact that they make it very difficult for you to live off campus if you go to Goucher, I would say that it's kind of a four year you live on campus kind of school. You can move but they apartments in the area are pretty expensive so most people end up living in the city near JHU. Our dorms are nice enough though therefore it doesn't make sense to live off campus.

Frolicker Is the Most Fun

The biggest party dorm is probably Frolicker, and Frolicker-Alcock to be specific. Frolicker-Tuttle is a pretty big party dorm also, and drug dorm. Also, there are always people in the Frolicker courtyard, so if you smoke that's an easy way to meet people because there are always people out there smoking cigarettes, hookah, and weed. The "T" aka Welsh dorm is really nice. It has suites, but it's not in the residential quad, so you'll have to leave the dorm and go to the residential hall to find something. Stimson isn't great. They put a lot of freshmen there. You can probably get away with a lot of stuff but there are mad floors and no elevators, so moving in and out wouldn't be fun.
