Dorms are great communities to meet other students

Living on campus is awesome, the atmosphere is great! There is great community. There has been a housing crisis as the college is expanding and gaining more students. I lived in Alpha my freshman year, and it gave lots of opportunity for making new friendships. Many people want to get back into Alpha again once they've lived there. The other halls are great too, although I haven't lived in them.

The dorm that I live in is an olfer dorm so the rooms are small and the heating and cooling is not always the greatest. However, some of the new dorms and the apartments are very nice. Grace cares a lot about living as a community and encourages people to live in the dorms.

It all depends on where you live. If you are in Indiana Hall, then you will probably say that you love the campus housing (like myself). However, Beta Hall for guys is a big step down from Indy, although if you are unaware of Indy's spaciousness and seclusion, then it probably won't be a problem. Westminster Hall is in between in my opinion, but it has a sweet game room to compensate. Alpha is old, but it is very cozy and homy. There is also a new dorm that was just built that will offer a new, reportedly spacious alternative for both guys and girls with a unified lobby.

Social Atmosphere – The social atmosphere is very high here at Grace College. You can almost always find someone to talk to, whether it be in a dorm, in a local on-campus hangout, or while out walking.
