School Spirit
Grand Valley students and alumni are proud of their school. One of the most popular events is Battle of the Valleys, which is a competition between Saginaw Valley State University and Grand Valley. Each school collects as much money as possible for a local charity, and the school with the most donations at the end of the week wins. The battle ends with a football game between the two schools.
Getting Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the athletic ticket office, and the 20/20 desk in Kirkhof has a limited amount of tickets, depending on the sport. There are usually tickets available at the games, as well. Student tickets are cheaper by a few dollars.
Best Place to Take a Walk
Through the ravines behind campus. It's great for hiking and walking to see the scenery, and you can walk all the way to the Grand River behind campus.
