Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Fraternities and sororities value community service, and participate in many volunteer and fundraising events at Grand Valley every year. Participation in service events serves the purpose to better the community. GVSU’s Greek life prides itself in leadership development and offers its students opportunities locally, regionally, and nationally.

Many members of Greek life hold brotherhood and sisterhood as the most important aspects of the organizations. Members of fraternities and sororities constantly hold study sessions, academic programs, and strive to have the highest chapter average GPA to maintain high academics. Many organizations offer academic scholarships, too.
