What About Me?

Grand Valley gives out a large number of scholarships each year but the competition is VERY high to win them. Unfortunately, the school itself has only a certain number to give away and many students who deserve them don't win because they are already on earlier (but smaller scholarships).

I have not had to use financial aid yet. My parents work hard to pay for my school up unto my senior yr. of college I will have to finance my schooling. My family lives in a rural area, so I am not able to commute to college. My school counselor recommended GVSU and so I went and visited it and fell in love with the college, classrooms and campus apartments.

I have some friends who have used the financial aid dept. and they stated they were very helpful.
