Rigorous but Insightful – The academics here are very rigorous. It takes a lot of work to make the Dean's List. If you put in the hours, it's very possible though. Professors tend to forget that students have more than one class per semester, and load us up with tons of readings and papers. Time management is key to getting everything done. If you have to skip partying for a night, do it! When final grades come in and you did better than you expected, it will be worth it to give up that night of fun. That being said, you do actually learn a lot through all of that work. Professors want to help you, and often will give you really useful tips if you make the effort to talk to them outside of class. Registration can be stressful, especially for science majors, but usually you can talk your way into a full course if you try.
