Students do have the chance to eat off-campus; however, none of the 21-meals on the plan transfer to local eateries. Numerous pizza places compete for student patronage, and delivery people are a frequent sight around campus. The Coffee Grove is a popular spot to study or chat over a latté. Just across the street, Victor Lee—a Grove City College icon—runs a highly successful Chinese restaurant. He knows his way around campus, but eating your Chinese in his store might just get you free beverages.

Interested in a quick bite to eat? McDonald’s and Subway are a 10-minute walk from campus. Other local quick-stops demand a car. Students can drive the other direction and get sandwiches at Sheetz or a selection of foods from the Prime Outlets food court. Eat ‘n Park is a popular study spot that serves breakfast 24-7. Places you might want to take your parents include Elephant & Castle, Benjamin’s, the Iron Bridge, and Rachel’s Roadhouse. Quaker Steak & Lube is quite a drive, but offers great wings.

The Food Is Average

Grove City is right by an outlet mall so there are a lot of chain resteraunts around there. A popular place to get food is Rachels, which has awesome wings and pub food, as well as decent drink prices. Right in Grove City you can walk to an Italian resteraunt as well as Sun Gins Chinese buffet and Four Star Pizza.

Out and About in Grove City.

Downtown Grove City is not very hopping but there are always food options. If you have a car you can drive about ten minutes and get to all of the fast food restaurants, drive 15 minutes and you are can go to the Outlet Malls (no sales tax on clothing in PA) and eat in the food court or hit up the sit down restaurants around there. Sun Gin's is a chinese restaurant downtown that is every college kids dream. They will deliver even into the wee hours. On occasion when a group of us have been downtown late at night the owner will let us come in and he will just whip you up some General Tso's, crab rangons, and some of those awesome sugar donuts! There is also a place called Sheetz. Because i'm from out of state I had never heard of Sheetz. It's amazing. Its mainly a gas station but the convenience store inside is open 24/7 and has touch screens so you can get made to order food. They have literally anything you could want. You can make shakes and smoothies too. It's awesome for a late night study session break.

Same Old Song and Dance..

You've got pizza places, chinese huts, 3-4 star restaurants...so not too bad. Could be a little better priced.
