Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Parking has improved slightly with the addition of a gravel lot near Frank Family Science Center. During the day, students are sometimes competing with CCE (continuing education students) for spaces. However, restrictions on lots have been rearranged, and the seemingly more convenient lots are now designated for commuters only. Students may park in these lots only on the weekend. A “20-minute loading zone” has been instated for the area behind Binford, Shore, and Mary Hobbs, so you can get your groceries in, and then go park elsewhere in the lots designed for those residents.
Freshmen are allowed to bring cars and park on campus, so due to the great increase in students, there are fewer places to park. There is always a place to park, but may not be as close to your class or your dorm as you might like. Be wary of even briefly parking in undesignated spots; security is super fast with tickets. Unpaid tickets will get you a hold on registration and transcripts (including grade reports), so pay up quickly, or face the repercussions.
