It is as simple as night and day. Mornings start at 9 (6 on clinical days) and nights start at 5 (2 on clinical days).

Gurnick offers classes to everyone that applies and is able to meet the financial requirements and of course pass the entrance exam. Most of the students work at least part time or full time and have families. Most of the students are getting an education to better themselves and make a career out of nursing.

Nearly all of the classes are on campus. They do however offer the prerequisite course online. throughout the modules there are assignments and case studies that are required to do that are online. Very easy to access and work with.

The faculty really helps the students. They can try to help find you possible career opportunities after you graduate.

I love that they have a wireless network available to all students. Usually works at a great speed. We also have access to bring our own computers if necessary.

I really love it there. Though nursing is a competitive course the people are all in it for the same reason. Making it easy for us to relate to each other. I'm very excited about the speed of the program, fast paced.

It was a little confusing at first but now that I've figured out how to work it its pretty easy to maneuver. I use my iPad which also makes a difference. Normal laptops or desktops works best.

The school is really great! Though its very small they have great resources for each student to succeed. Small but useful library and a great break room. Definitely prepares us for work already.

There is a computer lab/library at the school. The internet speed is very convenient. We used to have a printer until it broke. Who knows when we'll get a new one.

The professors I've had have been very helpful. Most of them go out of there way to help us students understand the subject. The workload is pretty tough, especially for pharmacology. As for registration, the process was very smooth and easy. To help get enrolled fast, its beat to have all your documents ready on your appointment.

I am in the VN program and so far I'm getting what I expected from a private school. The administration are helpful. The instructors I've had are all very good. As for the clinical sites, I wish they could be better. I honestly don't feel truly confident about the HESI or NCLEX.

The teachers are average. There are a few who absolutely love teaching and care about their students and there are others who do not know anything about what they are teaching.

The school is expensive, and very unorganized. The teachers get into students faces. The material is not thoroughly taught. Students do not feel prepared for their NCLEX exam

Everyone takes the same courses, so study groups are helpful. Terrible clinical facilities (run down, far away). Helpful job placement director.

Lousy clinical facilities
Decent clinical instructors

Too expensive for the BS you will deal with
Won't be licensed until 6-7 MONTHS after you finish 4th module (quarter)

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I'm getting is average. The tuition is very high, but the accelerated program was my only option. There are pros and cons to every school, so one of the cons to this school is how expensive it is. But, that is expected when attending a private college.

The classes are available in the morning or evening so it makes it workable, but if something happens and you miss a class there is no wiggle room at all no matter what the emergency is.

I love the idea of an online class. I am one of those students that is comfortable learning independently. Plus, my schedule is packed so I really enjoyed being able to complete my assignments and quizzes at whatever time was convenient for me. I give the online class a 10 out of 10!

Working Toward a Common Goal – I love the students in my class; there are about 38 students and it's been really fun getting to know everyone and find out what they bring to the class. We're all working together toward a common goal of graduating as nurses and we enjoying helping each other to reach that goal.

Online Class Access – The online course is easy to navigate and access, something that I find refreshing after a bad online experience with another educational institution.

This school from the very moment I stepped inside to get information about their programs their staff was very generous and happy. They make you feel very welcome. I was most excited to hear that this school offered the Vocational Nursing program because other colleges are too far for me to assist. Any questions I had were answered and they made me feel very welcome when I enrolled.
