I have felt that, overall, the campus is safe and secure. It is however, lacking in its number of lights. When it is dark, you really recognize that the amount of lights is not where it should be. |

Parties on campus can be a great time, especially when you are underage or an underclassman. They can also suck big-time—it depends on certain factors not to be discussed in a survey. Patrick’s is the bar of choice, although there are a few other ones in St. Peter. Each location has certain regulars there, depending on sororities and fraternities, athletics, and so forth. The all-inclusive place is Patrick’s, where you can be a member of the Mug Club, which I might say is a much-desired feat. |

Diversity? Ha! It’s a joke at Gustavus. They make such a big deal about trying to be diverse, but let’s be honest, it’s not gonna happen. The worst part is, the Diversity Center is one of the most biased and racist places on campus. In their eyes, you’re only worth acknowledging if you’re not white or you have a ‘foreign sounding’ name. I know this because I was asked to join the multicultural group my freshman year because my name sounded foreign. When they found out I considered myself white and I didn’t really do much with diversity issues, they stopped contacting me. |

The Diversity Center is probably one of the most elitist groups on campus. It is hard to get involved with the diversity issue unless you are a person of color. Our school is in a rural part of the state, and we have to face that we are predominately white. |

You can’t walk two steps without someone talking about diversity. The campus is primarily Caucasian, with a mix of many other races and religious backgrounds. It was challenging for me to see a school dump a lot of money into getting more diversity rather than spending the money on something more worthwhile—like a tuition break! |

As far as intellectually, the campus is very diverse. You’ll probably make friends with people in every major. However, in regards to ethnic, racial, and religious diversity, there really isn’t much. There’s the typical ‘pool’ of diverse students (often the international students stick together), but even being an out-of-state student marks you as a minority. I would say the majority of students do not embrace the budding diversity and its subsequent programs. Most students never become involved with the Diversity Center or the programs/groups associated with it. However, a student dedicated to diversity will find a comfortable niche for all their interests. |

Diversity is nonexistent. You know when you decide you need to exercise and you finally go for a run? At the beginning of the run you feel really good and determined, then after a couple of miles you start getting a little tired and you start to falter with the reasons why you are running. And finally, by the time you are running back home, you give up and start walking, realizing how pointless and stupid it is to continue exercising when you are just going to eat more when you get home. Gustavus handles diversity a lot like this. They started off with a great idea and a good way of bringing the campus more together, and after they were in full sprint they gave up and have now decided to just trot their way through the rest of the years. |

Not very diverse. Most people are from the Cities, have blonde hair and blue eyes, and many are Swedish or Norwegian. |

Our campus isn’t that diverse if we are talking in terms of race and ethnicity, but it also depends on how one defines the term ‘diversity.’ Personally, diversity means much more than race or ethnicity. Diversity is about people’s life experiences, their economic background, family history, religion, if they have a disability, and so forth. Although I may view diversity as a much broader topic, diversity to our school’s administration is, unfortunately, rather narrow-minded. |

The Gustavus campus is very limited with its diversity. And furthermore, I think that those who ‘promote’ diversity through the Diversity Center and its events, are some of the most exclusive people at the College. |

It’s not very diverse; however, this is something that the school is working on. There are a lot of programs that promote diversity, and I feel that I have learned a lot from these programs. To celebrate Ramadan, the president of the College hosted a meal to break the fast. It was an amazing experience, because not only did I learn about Ramadan, but now the president of the College knows me by name! |

The dating pool is pretty diverse. It helps living on both the North and South Sides if you want to meet the typical representatives of each group. |

Compared to the students at MSU (Minnesota State University), we have an above-average attractiveness level for both men and women. We have a very well-dressed campus. Although you could come to class in your pajamas, most people get ready for class each day. Guys and girls dress up on Friday nights to go to the Dive, where they hope to meet someone to dance with. |

The girls are very attractive and come from all backgrounds. On the other hand, there are some feministic and very liberal women that I had a tough time adjusting to. And the consensus of those who visited was that Gustavus has a pretty good selection of women, if you know what I mean! |

The guys are fairly good-looking, but it all depends. The girls are fine, though, too. |

I would say, without a doubt, that Gustavus has some of the best-looking students in Minnesota. Friends from other MIAC schools have come to visit me, and they always leave with their jaws dropped. Some students (guys and girls) can be quite stuck-up and snobby, but it is normal to know at least three knockout gorgeous people who are level-headed, as well. Of course, all this sexual energy creates a lot of gossip and drama, so watch out for that! |

I’ll be honest: GAC has a good-looking campus. There are far too few guys compared to girls, but both sexes can be stuck-up and not worth it sometimes. |

Some are hot, some aren’t. Some are assholes, some aren’t. Some are skanky, some aren’t. Some are soulmates, some aren’t. You’d find this anywhere. |

The guys and girls tend to be of a certain similar mindset—small-town oriented. Hot, but no brains or taste. |

The guys at GAC are definitely hot! Handsome, generally athletic, smart, and somewhat stuck-up, but hot. We seem to have a propensity to attract handsome, smart athletes who were voted ‘Most Popular’ or ‘Best Athlete’ or ‘Most Well-Liked’ in high school. |

Although there are more girls than guys, I feel that the guys that are here are pretty good. The students at Gustavus are a pretty attractive group of people. However, people always try to look good when the semester starts, but after that, it’s all downhill. |

IM sports are bigger, I think. Varsity sports are big for the athletes, but our school doesn’t have a huge following of varsity sports that I noticed. |
