Students from all genders/orientations are accepted at Gwynedd-Mercy College. As we continue to live and learn in the Mercy tradition at the college, no one is looked upon as being different because of their likes and dislikes. We, as students, are accepted for who we are, and, inasmuch as we are a smaller college, it is very easy to get to know everyone, and be considered one family at GMC!

I feel like this college is very diverse. I room with a homosexual woman and many of my friends are catholic or some sorts of christianity. I also have many foreign people in my classes from India and China. The economic status of people is very diverse. Some of the people I know come from families that are very well off, and others not so much.

The people on campus here are very diverse. It allows you to learn a lot from people who come from different backgrounds. People come from different parts of the country and have different values. When you meet new people, you learn how to repect their views and values on life.
