Mostly, my school consists of working class people with full-time jobs or families. They juggle many different roles in addition to being students. While they are happy to socialize and make friends, this is not a priority. They are getting an education so they can seek a different life or career.

The main reason I chose this school was because of how flexible thee class schedule are. I am able to work around my personal schedule, which is great.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial Aid office does okay but I wish that they wouldn't do every thing based on low income, because everyone doesn't qualified for pell grants and we need money for school too.

The computer lab is a dependable resource at our school I just wish, the lab would stay open late.

The Facility has all of the resources we need, but the staffed members should communicate better with each other.

If you aren't black...you will more than likely be discriminated against.I am white. I have been slapped on the forehead by an instructor. Another student was cussed out by one which was fired and recently rehired. Some instructors are difficult to understand with their foreign accents.

Have a computer room. No copier available unless you join student support services but you must be poor or have parents who never attended in order to use this service.
No student center.
A nice library though.
No campus activities nor athletic center.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I think the tuition is far. I think the education I'm receiving is worth my tuition. My experience with the financial aid office was very poor. They are slow and some of them don't have good attitudes.

My class aren't that flexable, but I manage. My teachers are excellent so it make it much easier

My shcool is typical has a diverse group of students. In my radiology class most of the students are under 25, but we do have a couple people over 40. We have test about every week ,so we often have study groups.

Real World Experience – a technical school with knowledgable instructors and plenty of hands on instruction

I have never taken an online class. I prefer the traditional classroom experience.

Online Registration – Online early registraton for current students is the best.

This is my second semester, after returning back to school after 25 years. Staff and everyone has been extremely patient, willing to assist me whenever necessary.

Only One Thing – The one thing that sets this school apart from others is the program I'm trying to enter. Other than the exceptional program, the school is sub-par. Grade is for the program.

Don't Know How Students Pay Here – I am only going to this school because it's one of 3 Programs in the State, it's cheaper than the other two and it's local to me. Plus there are no other programs anywhere near me that are otherwise worth attending. I am scraping by to pay Term by Term because they don't accept or participate in Federal Loans. I have an undergraduate Degree so I can't partake in Grants either. I have no credit so I can't get Private Loans and I can't get a job because I don't have a career with the other Degree that makes me both over and under qualified for most jobs. I would happier if they accepted Federal Student Loans.

The medical radiologic technician program at Trenholm is tough. The teachers expect a lot from you. You will follow the prescribed curriculum, and must maintain a 75 or better average in order to maintain your status in the program.
One minus would be that we do not have working facilities in our school. So sometimes doing demonstrations of topics that we are discussing are hard to comprehend. However, the instructors do take the time to make sure we are "getting" the material.
You will start working in the field as an intern from day two. And the techs in the field do take the time to make sure you are practicing the information correctly.

There Isn't Much Unique – Aside from the various technical programs, there really isn't anything unique about Trenholm State. There is no campus life as it is a tech school, however it does offer a program of study that is very hard to find within the state.

Trenholm State University – Trenholm State is a technical school, that has various programs of study. Programs range from Heating and air technicians to Allied Health Programs. I chose this particular school because it offers a program that is only offered at one other school in the state. I do believe that Trenholm only has associate degree plans at this time.
My professors are very knowledgeable with over 30 years experience teaching in the profession. They are always there to help you if you need extra work. My particular program is accredited, however if you choose to take any basics at this school know that those classes are not accredited and will not transfer with you should you choose to go and get your Bachelor's Degree.
Also know that while the school does participate in the Pell Grant program, and has some scholarships, it does not participate in any other kind of financial aid. So, it may be a little difficult for you to procure money for school.
Overall, my experience at this school has been very positive. I already have a bachelor's degree in a different program and the course load and coursework is very competitive with the 4-year college I attended. It is definitely a commuter school and you will get your hands dirty within any program you choose. I am absolutely happy with my choice and know I will be well prepared for the workforce when I graduate in the summer.

Trenholm State has different ethnic groups. The thing I like about the student body the most is that we all treat each other the same. The student body as a whole is very friendly and reliable. They always have your back and are willing to help when you're failing.

Library Tower – The library tower is a great place to study. All the computers are high speed and the software is uo to date. Also it includes lots of resources needed for research.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
