Hampton University - Campus StrictnessCollege Prowler1.15
College Prowler Take
The campus of HU is a very strict one. The main complaint about strictness deals with the control of people coming on and off the campus. While students appreciate the added protection to an extent, they become frustrated when trying to have visitors, and are baffled by the concept that while there is security checking every car, anyone is able to just walk onto campus. Once upon a time, students had the opportunity of entering the campus near their dorm or whereever they might be going, but Hampton wanted to exercise power and close outside entrances to commuter students by building one way gates. Since the University has implemented these gates, it causes an inconvenience, primarily for off-campus and commuter students. Additionally, it causes a line when coming into the main gate because students and visitors are frequently questioned of their intended destination and their reason for coming on campus. HU also has an intolerable strictness with the way students dress. HU specifies in great detail that a female’s straps should be so thick and shirts should be a certain length. Guys really do not have a problem with the code because their typical dress is so basic. However, if they come outside with a tank top or skull cap, they too are subject to discipline. HU often goes overboard with its strictness. It is one thing to run an orderly campus, but it is another when students feel as though their personal lives are being run by officials, when all they want to do is learn. Well, most of us anyway.

Hampton Can Be Ludicrous With Its Policies
D-
There are all kinds of limitations on visitation once you get in to the school. Freshmen have curfew up to a certain point in the year. How long your class is on curfew depends on their behavior as a whole. Hampton makes it difficult for students to feel like adults, some student had even less rules when they were living with their parent which. We're adults so they need to treat us as such.

There are strict in the wrong places and they like to give you tickets and tow your car. We are college students and they already take enough money from us.
