I do not participate in activities off campus just yet. I attend functions on campus including parties hosted by groups and some greek organizations.

With the scene starting at either 18 or 21+ you have to find places miles of campus to have a good time. With the Peninsula Shopping Center in a 10 minute radius there are many tourist attractions to get into .

Hampton's nightlife is pretty much the Harbors the "off-campus" apartments across the street from the campus. Hampton isn't DC or Greensboro NC so there's not a lot of clubs, you usual; if clubbing is your scene you'd have to go to Newport News, Norfolk, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach and Richmond. We're pretty much a kick back school because of our location or lack thereof regarding night life. It's not terrible if you're cool with that but if your use to the city life you might want to take that into account when deciding schools.

There are always parties on Hampton University's campus, either in Holland Hall (thrown by an on campus organization), or in one of the nearby apartment complexes. The downtown bars are 21-and-up and not catered to University students. The Peninsula Town Center bars and Power Plant bars/clubs are also 21-and-up in the evenings. Some of our events take place about 30 mins away in Norfolk or Virginia Beach, VA.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
