Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

To schedule a visit, call (800) 213-2178 or (812) 866-7021 or visit www.hanover.edu/admission/visits. A typical visit involves the campus tour, but you can also meet with a professor, observe a class, or talk with a coach.

Campus Tours

Prospective students are given a tour of campus by one of the student ambassadors working in the Office of Admissions. The student ambassador shows the main buildings on campus, talks about residence life and dorms, shares insight about the college experience, shares personal stories, and answers any questions the prospective student may have. During his or her visit, a prospective student will most likely also have an interview with an admissions counselor and visit a class or meet with a professor.

Overnight Visits

Student ambassadors host prospective students Sunday through Thursday. Visits typically begin at 5 p.m. The prospective student spends the night in the host's residence hall and attends classes in the morning. Overnight visits should be planned at least two weeks in advance.
