When you get into your core major classes the schedules become less flexible and they only offer one or two days for availability for those class and specific times. Not allot of credits actually transfer over because the classes are so specialized.

The teachers I've had have been great. All of them are willing to work with the student one on one, and are always willing to make arrangements should any difficulties arise. The teachers are very knowledgeable and all are working professionals. The curriculum is intense but not impossible. Overall I love the school. The only problem I have is the scheduling. Not enough variety in the days the evening classes are available making it difficult to schedule more than 2 evening classes.

Every thing about Harrington is flexible. The teachers, classes, and staff are all wiling to change their schedules for me.

Studying & Working – At Harrington College of Design, classes are typically offered one or two days a week. Being a student that has to pay for all of my own living expenses, and a small chunk of tuition/books I am finding it challenging to work and attend full time. However, Harrington offers a fast paced program, it's school year extending into the summer. Additionally classes never exceed more than 22 students. And most classes meet only one day a week. So while my schedule may extend a few more days than I'd prefer, the personal relationship developed with teachers provides a much better education. And if my work schedule cannot conform to my class schedule, I know that I can push a class back a semester without offsetting my graduation date.

Hard to Please – Although classes vary from Mon.-Thursday, the hours make it hard to find work.
