Computer labs and computers are all new and work great.

For a community college they have good resources on campus, I use them frequently.

I have no problem with my school. There is a wide variety of people in our school and we all get along. The students and faculty are great and not discriminating anyone.

I have not graduated yet but I can say that they do help you find a job in your field. They will help you while you are a student and even afterwards.

Everybody was very friendly and helped out when I needed it. They help me understand the things that I did not.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am getting is very worth the tuition I am paying to attend HACC. I have recieved some help from finanical aid, which is great because it is less that I will have to pay later. To help I have been signing up for many scholarships in hopes to deduct some more cost off of my tuition. In the end, I know that whatever I have to pay, it will be very worth graduating with the degree I want and getting the dream job that I have been longing for.

HACC's student center is a huge life savor to the student body. Compared to other campuses to get help at the student learning center you do not have to make appointments to get help with your school work. you can walk right in and there will be someone able to help you right away. Another part of the campus that the students love and use often inbetween classes is the "HUB" to sit and relax with friends or to do homework and study. Students also sit in the HUB and each breakfast or lunch while waiting for their next class to begin.

The computer network is always having problems. There are days when students cannot access the main school website or grading system. Also teachers do not always seem comfortable working with the new computer systems in class.

Although my school is a Community College, the student body still recieves a the same education that other colleges offer but at the same time we are able to save money on tuition. Also scheduling classes each semester is a very easy and flexible process that I am very pleased with. I have been able to get all of the courses I have wanted so far in my college carreer.

The post-grad services at the campus are above average. The career center gives helpful, personal, one on one advice and guides one on their career path. Job prospects are bright, and the alumni network is also above average.

The resources at the campus surpass expectations. Help is always readily available. Resources and activity centers are modern and easily accessible. The library has helpful resources and if there is something that it does not have one can order what they may need and it will arrive for them shortly.

I can't say if my campus is especially unique when compared to other schools because this is the only campus that I have attended thus far; however, this campus does everything right. the quality of the instructors is excellent, the help one receives is useful and genuine, computer labs are always available. There are many extra curricular activities and community service opportunities. The resources to better oneself and one's education are readily available.
College Senior 2013-02-06T07:41:51Z
I have yet to have any sort of issue with the computers, network, or accessibility to a computer. Help is always available with any related issue.

Our library is very resourceful and full of information. We have study rooms with projectors and models you can reserve to study in, and the learning center is a great place to get help on homework.

Good School – I like my school. It is a lot cheaper to start my college career here at a community college than at a university. Also, the teachers and students are very friendly and I feel like I know almost everyone, and I've only been there a year. I'm nervous about going to a huge University with a lot of students, small schools are all I know.

In my school, we have a lot of different ethnic backgrounds. We have a lot of Hispanic as well as Causation students. Most of our students work part time, but we also have a lot of nursing majors who work at the local hospital.
College Freshman 2012-08-01T00:25:35Z
Student Awarness – My school is pretty student aware. we have carpool only parking spots close to the school to encourage students to car pool, as well as a bus that travels through the town and stops at our college. Also, there are many clubs a student can join. Some examples are the ski club, SGA (student government), music club, and LGBT (lesbian gay bisexual transsexual).
College Freshman 2012-08-01T00:19:43Z
Network Issues – Server crashes regularly. My English teacher had to push the deadline back on our essay because the server was down for an entire weekend and we couldn't do our research. Also, many of my teachers have had to call tech support during class because the computer/server was frozen. However, computers and laptops are available to everyone and the network speed is relatively fast. Also, printing is free for the student's first 100 pages a semester.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Over All Great – The school told me how to get the tax transcripts and special numbers to speed up the process. Everyone was great even though I started the progress a little later then I would have liked they were ready and willing to help me.

General Education – HACC is great for general education classes, but doesn't have a huge variety when it comes to majors. The Gettysburg campus does not have many classes, other than general education courses and nursing courses. The great thing is that the general education classes transfer over well to other colleges and universities. It is not a college that you graduate from.
College Sophomore 2012-05-18T04:57:58Z
Be Careful – There are courses that seem a lot easier online compared to on campus, but that is not always the case. The classes that are more difficult seem to be significantly more difficult. It is also easy to get behind on your work if you aren't planning ahead for each course.
College Sophomore 2012-05-18T04:52:59Z
A Great Starter College – I don't really have too many complaints other than the course offerings. I wish there were more options for classes. As a college to get some of your general education classes out of the way, HACC is perfect. The course load allows you to work and pay as you go. The college has a payment program so you can pay just about every month, rather than all at once. It as been a good experience for me.
College Sophomore 2012-01-05T04:16:17Z
All the basic general education classes seem to transfer pretty much anywhere.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
