HACC really does personify the phrase, “help me, help you,” through its willing and capable professors, great facilities, and free tutoring in various subjects. It even works with other four-year colleges across the state to help students earn the first two years of credits through transfer programs, including the option of earning an associate degree along the way. The campuses are neatly groomed and landscaped, making it enjoyable to walk from class to class and feel confident about the educational path.

Although the school and its students are incredibly focused on the programs, HACC also provides extracurricular activities and sports for students. The most prominent activities tend to include music and theater performances by students and professionals alike—with great turnouts. There is also a fairly active student government that helps jump-start the students’ interests in making their community college a true "community."
