I am a medical major. My classes are general education and core courses. We go to school for four quarters, that last about 12 weeks and after each quarter we get a one week break. We have a career services department that offers life time services to Harrison College graduates at any campus. We also have a special day each quarter called "Awards Day" where students can come in to this assembly to receive any awards that they have earned from the previous quarter such as dean's list and perfect attendance. The faculty is very open to helping students that need extra help. Each faculty member also has designated time each week to offer tutoring in all classes being offered each quarter.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am pursing is well worth the money I will have to spend. I had a little bit of pell grant and they are doing everything they can to find more money for me to go to school

The main reason I chose this school was because of the flexible class schedule that I can do online at my convenience.

Harrison's flexibility is great. They offer online studies, on-campus classes, & blended courses that combine the two. Harrison also provides a wide variety of class times for both evening & daytime classes. I feel very comfortable in the fact that I will be able to incorporate my work & class schedules into my day without any hassles.

Harrison College offers programs that cater to students directly following high school or adult students looking to further their education. As an adult student, I am impressed with how the campus is targeted toward very specific degree programs & even offers what they call "blended classes". The courses mix classroom learning with online studies. I feel like this is incredibly helpful because it is convenient, yet still allows for face-to-face interaction & advice from faculty. This style of course work also allows me to make less trips to the campus & cut down on my commuting expenses. I am struggling a lot financially, so this is excellent for students like me.

How Harrison College Measures up – My overall experience at Harrison College has been phenomenal! My favorite thing about the school is that I am being directly placed into the program that chose. There are no grueling pre-requisites to trudge through. I am in classes pertaining to my degree from day one, & since it is a targeted degree program, I will be in & out in just 2 years. As an adult student, this is incredibly important to me. The convenience of the school's blended courses is also very helpful. Harrison offers courses that mix classroom & online learning, ultimately making it easier to work around other scheduled activities/commitments & saves me a lot of money on commuting expenses. And anywhere I can save money makes my life loads easier & reduces a lot of unnecessary stress. All in all, I feel like Harrison College is the perfect choice for me & can't wait to delve even deeper into the opportunities the school has to offer me.

Harrison College's Networking – I realized from the first time I toured Harrison College that I would have to problem at all accessing computers, printing, or having a network to use for my studies. There are several fully equipped computer labs on the campus & all the ways/places that I could access Harrison's network, both on campus & on my own, were thoroughly explained to me. Setting up my profile on the Know U Network was a breeze. I love how easy it is to navigate & the tech support is readily available at any time.

My Harrison Experience – I had an awesome experience at Harrison College from the second I filled out my online application. It only took about 5 minutes after hitting submit for my phone to ring with a call from an enrollment specialist. In addition, she was incredibly helpful & took the time to go through any & every question I had about getting started with my education. The staff gave me a tour, explained the program I was interested in down to the most finite points, & spent nearly 2 hours making sure that I completely understood my financial aid options. I'm so excited to begin my first quarter of classes & look forward to becoming better acquainted with the staff, faculty, & my fellow students!

Harrison's online courses are designed for the working student. The courses allow for flexibility and ease in the "classroom." The teachers are very quick to grade and return assignments, respond to question or concerns, and assist with interaction between fellow classmates.

Harrison College – Harrison College has done an outstanding job in welcoming new students. From the first time I walked through the door to obtain information, Harrison College has been very friendly and helpful. I have never attended a college before where I felt comfortable and understood the entire process.

we have an learning resource center, it has several computers that are available to the students, however the in house book selection is very limited. It only opened a resource center about a year ago
Online Basic Insurance – The class was terrible. it was a 12 week course and we did not have an instructor from week 4 through week 10 1/2. We the students did not even know that we had no instrusctor until the new one introduced herself via e-mail. it was VERY VERY frustrating because we had pass or fail competencies and we were emailing an instructor that left us high and dry. I pride myself on getting 4.0 GPA every quarter, however this one took the cake!

Harrison College – I don't have too much to say on this topic, because I am just starting out in my new major. I am only in my first quarter of my new major. I know what classes that I have in the future and they seem very interesting and there is one internship that is at the end of my program.

very limited instructor choices. Curriculum is very career focused. No control over class schedule.
