Tuition & Financial Aid:
It is very expensive to go to Harrison and certain things that are done in classes you have to pay for whether you want to do it or not. And with the online classes you have to pay even if it is blended or have to go to the school for the class for certain things that are downloaded on the computers.

Since I started at Harrison I have had a combination of online and on campus classes. With online classes you can work at your on pass and not have to worry about the travel to campus. But with online classes you don't have the student teacher relationship that you have in a classroom due to you are only knowing them through online. Some of my online classes have went better than others.

At Harrison, each person knows you by name from other students to staff. With knowing someone by names and the connection that you get it helps you get the one on one attention/help that you need on getting any help. Their goal is to make sure you succeed and get the grade you are looking for.

My school consists of middle age working men and women. Most of the students have families and attend online classes due to having a full schedule with work and kids. Although the students are friendly they keep to themselves a lot.

Harrison has a very nice online campus. I take a lot of online classes and have never had a problem with their network. The compuuter labs on campus are nice but you are not allowed to make copies and it seems like the printers never have paper in them.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
You don't have hardly any say in the amount of money you would like to take out on loans all you are allowed to to is review what they think you should take out and then you can't change it. If you ask for more loan money they will not allow you to have it because they dont see why you should, even when you inform them that you need to buy books, paper, or even a computer for online classes.

Harrison has a very nice social scene. Everyone helps you feel welcome and they all understand your struggles because most of them are single parents or have a low income as well and are just trying to better their future.

The campus has decent learning resources although it is very hard to find someone to help you with anything. They always have a big turn-over with their staff so keeping up with who can help you becomes frustrating. There are very little school activities to get involved in and tuition is very high. Also you don't have hardly any say in the amount of money you would like to take out on loans all you are allowed to to is review what they think you should take out and then you can't change it. If you ask for more loan money they will not allow you to have it because they dont see why you should, even when you inform them that you need to buy books, paper, or even a computer for online classes. They do have a lot of job fairs and are very good at helping students find a job. Overall I think Harrison could become a great school if they had a more constant staff.

It would be nice to get feedback just a little quicker. It would also be nice to know how things are going in the class sooner. sometimes it takes almost 2 weeks to get some things graded.

Somewhat Convenient – My school is pretty flexible when it comes to schedules, they offer day and evening classes as well as online courses. But,I know some students have had problems transferring credits from one school to another!

We have two computer labs at school, plus a library. We are able to go into the labs or library pretty much anytime and work on homework or research or whatever. There is tons of resources on our school's library website that helps alot. You can find so much information on the site; there is tools to help with formatting a paper correctly, bunches of different data bases where you can get information on just about any topic you can think of, there is lots of online books and articles, you can even chat with a librarian if you need to ask a research question or anything.

Pretty Good – My school requires all students complete an internship during their last quarter. This gives students some experience in their career field and it looks good on a resume. My school offers help with resumes and cover letters to students who need it. We also have a pretty good career services program to help students find a job after graduation.

Just Average – Our campus is really small and so there isn't a whole lot of room social events and things like that. But, my school does a pretty good job with the space we do have. We have chilli supper nights, pizza days; where students can buy pizza by the slice, bring a friend day; where students can bring a friend with them to school, and other events.

Resources Are Alright – The faculity and staff are always posting emails and flyers that has good tips and information resources on them. Our librarian always makes sure we have plenty of sources for research online and in the library. There are teachers and students willing to tutor us or answer any questions if we need help. We have a nice student lounge for students to grab a snack and sit down and study. Our school also offers help with resumes and cover letters to students that need it.

I chose Harrison College because I was able to get all online classes which allowed me to be home instead of traveling every day to the campus. But later I can still come in for classes on campus.

It's a Business College – Since Harrison is a business college they don't have athletics and all of that. But they have a whole database full of different types of resources. They are even specific to your major. Its very useful, and simple.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
A Bit Pricey – I think the tuition is a but high, but I think its well worth the money. Working with financial aid was simple. I'm glad I chose Harrison college.

Best College I Have Attended – I really like the staff there. When I went in to apply they walked me through everything. They still call me and make sure that I don't need anything. The thing I like best is, they offer a lot of services. They help find tutors that are free, they will help find daycare if needed. Financial aid through them was a breeze. The last college I attended made it a nightmare.

My School Experience – I went to Harrison College back in 1995-1997 when it was Indiana Business College. I decided to go back in 2010. I did not have to pay an application fee ad a lot of my previous classes taken transferred so I did not have to retake them. I am enjoying my experience at Harrison College.

Thing That Set My School Apart from Others – Some of the things that set my school apart from others are: They are a smaller school, they know everyone by name, You are given the help you need to assure you graduate on time, and the classes are smaller which allows for more one-on-one teaching if needed.

I give Harrison an overall rating of an A because they work with you to make sure you graduate on time. If you are struggling with anything they are there to help out. Weather it be with one-on-one help from instructors or tutoring. They are an excellent college!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is high I think. However you finding school alot faster. I think if you average it out it would be the same as going somewhere else. The financial aid advisors at the school, he you get the most you can to help.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
