After you graduate Harrison College has a Career Service that will help you in figuring out who Is hiring. They also teach you how to right an resume, perform mock interviews, and help you will whats appropriate to wear. They will also right a reference letter if need be. I feel that Harrisons main goal is providing the education and tool you need to succeed in the working world and they really care about you and your goals in life

I always thought that online classes would be hard but after talking to Harrison college about them Im comfortable with taking a couple online courses. Even though you may be a full online student you can still come into campus and ask your professor and questions that you need which I find very helpful. The professors are always there to help with anything they can. Also if you need any tutoring with online classes you get your tutoring straight from your professor which I find wonderful because most colleges have students or teachers assistants do their tutoring and I don't find them to be as helpful or to know as much about the lesson as your professor. All in all I think online courses at Harrison are very easy.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I signed up online for Harrison college after I heard a lot of good things from friends of the family about Harrison. I finished my application and that very same day I met with a counselor and they accepted me. I was very impressed with how willing they were to help me with whatever I needed and all the questions I had were answered in detail. I was given a tour and was very pleased to see that it was not that big and all the class room were pretty much down the same hallway. I was told that classes only have about 10 to 15 people in them at a time and I was very pleased to learn that being that that is what im looking for in a college. I feel like I made the best choice with Harrison College and im hoping that somehow I will be able to afford going there without having to take out a student loan. Im very serious about going to school and I feel that Harrison College is the best choice all around.

I have not started yet, but a lot of people I have heard from, their education at Harrison has made them very marketable to their job field. Everything I am signed up to take is DIRECTLY related to the job I am going for.

This college may not have athletic centers, but it has alot of student activities as well as gets involved in the community. Some students even got together to go to Joplin, MO after the tornado and provide help. The campus has a very helpful student resource programs including tutoring. It is a family atmosphere, I do not feel like just another student.

Resources a Asset – They have a state of the art computer lab, it does have a small library, but students are able to reserve books from other campuses and pick them up at the local campus. They also have a Learning Center Resource which gives students access to all kinds of data bases for research.

As a requirement of my Assoc. Degree, all students must pass the Career Development class which gets students ready to look for a job in their chosen field. The staff is very supportive and helpful and continue to be supportive even after completion of the class. They dont stop working for students.

Getting Started – Getting started with registration was scary, being a non-traditional student. Katrina made everything fall into place.

Post-Grad Services – I have not had any experience yet with the career center. There is an alumni association, and the amount of students who find jobs in their career is extremely high.

My Academic Experience – Being a non-traditional student, and possibly the oldest student attending, the experience is great. The classes are flexible. There have not been too many hassles or frustrations. Some of my credits did not transfer because of how long ago the classes had been taken (10+years). The teachers are flexible and will work with you if there is a problem.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Even though the tuition is a little higher than at other colleges, the quality of education I have been receiving I believe I could not receive at any other college. The financial staff help in every way they can to assist you with loans and financial aid.
