Graduate-What Now? I am still attending college so I have not had much experience in the area. However, in the nursing program, I have talked to students who have graduated and they told me that they received a great ammount of assistance in finding jobs after graduating.

All in the Family – The student body at HCC are like family, we interact well. We are all down to earth hard working students. A typical student may work full or part-time and are pursing a career to enhance their life.

My Hometown College – The friendly hometown feel. The small classes size make it easier to feel comfortable.

My school is pretty average. They don't offer a lot of special things for the students. There is a History club that is prominent though, and they collect things for troops overseas and always have something going on. Our nursing program is pretty big and the majority of people that attend this school are in that program. We have a Head Start on campus for three to five year olds, which I think is fantastic.

No Drugs – Most people in community college are non traditional students and have kids, so there is not a lot of drugs use.

The Grill – Henderson Community college is one of the better community colleges out there. Very high tech, very nice looking. Everything from the library to the student center has been renovated. Computers are EVERYWHERE! Also, the Grill on campus has the best food I've ever tasted in my life. Goodhome style cooking at it's absolute best.
