The campus is very old and yet they have not tried to upgrade or remodel. There is really nothing to do at campus and also in the town, since it is very small. The reason this college is fun is because of the people. The students just know how to make things fun without resources and activites we all come up with ideas to go out and have a great time with our lives.

Honestly, my experience at Hill was not something i expected. You have the chance to interact with professors in a way you never really expected too. They are there too assist you in anything you need help on and they understand if you have difficulty assisting class. They will try to fit with your schedule. You can work on your work at a pace that is at your convenience. The library at Hill is so very helpful! I can guarantee that the librarians and staff help you on any troubles you encounter. The library is the best place to do your work, besides the student center in which you can interact with your friends and discuss class assigments. Hill College is a very friendly place and i am sure anyone there will be glad to help you with troubles you may encounter.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition for this school is very reasonably priced. Also, reciving aid for the costs was not a hassle at all and i was able to get the help i need.

The flexability in the school is very good. It is handled very well. The classes are perfect for what my schedule needs to be.

Im taking the general classes for the core cirriculum, and its everything you can ask for. They have a wide range of classes, and a very good staff of teachers.

I love how at this school it saved me a bunch of money rather than me moving away. They classes are the same, and they are easy to complete, and the teachers are fantastic. I will be transferring out at the end of this year, but I will never regret going to Hill College first.

Mostly hispanics and white population. I am African American but I am accepted for me and not discriminated against.

Hill is a small Junior College. Most students that stay on campus are athletes. So we share common goals- academics and athletics.

There is a student center but it's smaller and mainly just a t.v. and pool tables. Many students go home instead of sitting in there. There's also a bookstore which, is actually pretty cool. There's a library with computer resources and tons of space to study.

Most of the people at my school are holding a job because of low income families, they also range in ethnicity, age, and are all very friendly.

The teachers are very helpful and understanding, but administration has a hard time figuring out what they're talking about. I currently work in the evening and go to school in the mornings, this was a great local school that was able to work with me. Hill College does have sister school where the credits transfer very easily, and everything is very affordable.

Computer Labs – Computer Labs are abailable. However, if every student wanted to facilitate one, that could not happen.

The size is rather tiny. More for focused students, or undecided students.

Morally I've observed average intensions. Not much maturity.

Campus Activities – I haven't seen much campus activites yet. It is the first week so maybe time will tell.

Extremely Easy – I have only attended my current college since yesterday when I registered. I had such trouble getting transcripts from my other schools, but the moment I stepped into the school building, everything was extremely easy. Everyone was incredibly polite and sweet and the way they had registration set up was so simple. It was easy to get the classes I wanted/needed, and I was able to transfer more college credits from my previous school then I expected.

I haven't had any experience with this department. I haven't heard any problems from anyone who has. In the nursing field its not very often someone has difficult finding a job. I do know one person who went back after graduation and went to work for the college so I guess its a department that does help the students.

Inter School Relationship – This isn't a large school but the instructors are very professional they know the material they are teaching and they want their students to succeed and are willing to go the extra mile to help the students succeed by making sure study groups are available and tutoring. Now for the general population people not in specific programs registration is somewhat chaotic but less so for specific programs such as nursing because you already have specific classes you have to take.

Classes Are Challenging – I am a nursing major, the classes are very challenging, but you definitely learn from them, and you walk away feeling like you will be able to accomplish your job without any problems once your finished with school. Your fellow classmates are very supportive its like being in class with people you've known all your life, like family.

Very Happy With Choice – I love my school. Talk to anyone I know, and they would tell you that I would be immensely happy if Hill was a 4-year instead of a 2-year college. The teachers are amazing, the class sizes are perfect, and the campus is large enough to have plenty of classrooms, but small enough that you could walk all the way across campus from one class to the other (except for one building that is a bit out of the way). The counselors are helpful, the librarians are fairly nice, the other students are friendly but not in-your-face; just overall the perfect setting for me.

Just Depends Which Campus You're on – At the Hillsboro campus, there is plenty to do and everything is always very organized and enjoyable. At the Cleburne campus, there is some to do but not as much since it is just a branch of Hill and not the main campus. At the Burleson campus, there are a few activities but not very many. There is also not alot of students that attend this campus.

My experience at Hill College was ok just average. The counclors didn't know what they were talking about half of the time. They were flexible with my hours and time. My credits transfer but, overall the experience I would not trade.
