Hiram has very little nightlife, especially for those under 21. Hiram is not a big party school, but there is a bar close to campus where students go on the weekends. It is mildly popular. Most students party in the Townhouses, which are known for having the biggest, rowdiest parties—though they are mild in comparison to other schools. Students who are underage have to be careful when drinking and often drink in their rooms before going out for the night so they don't get caught with alcohol.

For the most part, students have to go to Cleveland for clubs, which usually get good reviews—if students are willing to make the drive. Other than that, students can go to nearby colleges like Kent State for Halloween parties. Even though Hiram is small with not a lot of nightlife, students find ways to have fun on campus with game nights, movie nights, and all of the school-sponsored parties and events.
