I got a small amount of financial aid and they refuse to let me participate in work study to help out because my parents are middle class. They are also supporting another sibling in college and paying off my brothers college loans. You get better loans if your smart and athletic.

The process was a bit difficult but I received the aid I needed.

I received a large scholarship from Hood eventhough I was not an "A" student in high school. This scholarship is guaranteed for the 4 years that I will be there.

Process Is Easy – The financial aid office is wonderful. They give you plenty of aid and scholarships. I received close to 34,000 in aid bringing the price out of pocket to something similar of a public university. The rest of my tuition and room and boarding were covered by the GI Bill which is very easy to set up. Also always go to the financial aid office, try for at least once a month as they always have a list of scholarships.

Great Aid – The school provides aid for those who need it and the process was understandable and easy as long as deadlines were met.
