- Homecoming is the main event for the Alumni Association. The Alumni Committee chooses the Homecoming theme, helps the Program Board organize events and also organizes the parade at the end of the week.

Famous ISU Alumni:
Stacy Dragila (Class of 1995) – Dragila won Olympic gold in women’s pole-vaulting at the 2000 Summer Olympics, held in Sydney, Australia.
Merril Hoge (Class of 1987) – Hoge played professional football for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears before becoming an ESPN commentator in 1996.
James A. McClure (Class of 1943) – Former U.S. senator, 1973–1991.
