- Visit the Career Center and attend the career fairs they organize. Also, check to see if you are eligible for work-study jobs on campus. These jobs are the best because they are conveniently located on campus, pay minimum wage, and they usually allow you time to study while you work. College is expensive, and it is getting worse. When it comes down to it, students have to work at least one job, or more, sometime during their college career. The ISU Career Center offers students job opportunities on and off campus.
